The Use of Peer to Peer programs (file sharing) is never a good idea. You open your computer up to threats you may not even be aware of. File sharing programs actually connect your computer to another person’s computer (not the internet) this kind of connection makes your computer vulnerable and accessible to the persons computer you've connected to. I have never seen a computer with p2p software that has NOT been infected with some kind of virus, key logger, or Trojan.
Take my advice... Stay away from file sharing! |
